Periodically, when I can get a patient to take the time out of their busy NYC schedule to allow me to interview them I will share it with you.
Janet’s story encompases the most common scenario I see in practice. A patient with multiple symptoms, chronic pain and digestive issues amongst them, has been to multiple doctors, had every medical test, has tried many supplements and still no relief. Janet was suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome which caused both lower abdominal and stomach symptoms.
We started with diet. You see Janet thought she was eating a healthy diet. She ate lots of fruits and vegetables, salads were a staple of her diet, which sounds healthy but not for her. Janet also learned that the years of neck pain she was suffering with was also being caused by her IBS.
